Kazushi Ono dirigiert Scriabins 3. Symphonie nicht so wild, so ungezügelt, so aufgewühlt, so flammend wie Svetlanov, aber die Aufnahme ist dennoch mehr als nur beeindruckend. Sie ist spannend, und bei allem Pathos, das noch unterschwellig zu vernehmen ist, bei allen Erinnerungen an Wagner, ist dies genuiner Scriabin.
In diesem Divin Poème bleibt Ono der Musik des ersten Satzes an Dramatik, aber auch an Schwung nichts schuldig. In den Voluptés und im Jeu Divin ist die Musik, spontan, vital und, wo erfordert, auch schwelgerisch.
Das Brussels Philharmonic glänzt in dieser Partitur sowohl als Ensemble als auch im Solistischen.
Kazushi Ono’s conducting of Scriabin’s Third Symphony is not as wild, as unbridled, as agitated, as flaming as Svetlanov’s, but the recording is still more than impressive. It is exciting, and despite all the subliminal pathos, despite all the reminiscences of Wagner, this is the real Scriabin.
In this Divin Poème, Ono owes nothing to the music of the first movement in terms of drama or momentum. In the Voluptés and the Jeu Divin, the music is spontaneous, vital and, where necessary, indulgent.
The Brussels Philharmonic shines in this score with an excellent ensemble playing and amazing soloistic performances.
