Greek conductor Zoe Zenodi, 48, has been appointed Music Director and Chief Conductor of the Orquesta Filarmónica de Buenos Aires (Teatro Colón).

Zenodi is Artistic Director of El Sistema Greece. Her leadership positions have included Principal Guest Conductor for Asia-Europe New Music Festival (Hanoi), Artistic Director of Thessaloniki Concert Hall, Music and Artistic Director of Broward Symphony and Alhambra Orchestras, among others.
