Festival Ibiza Conciertos is the world’s first classical music festival to embrace Bitcoin, allowing ticket purchases and offering artist payments in the cryptocurrency. Scheduled for June 18-21, 2025, the festival will take place on the scenic Baluarte Santa Lucia, a historic venue offering breathtaking views of Dalt Vila, Ibiza’s old city and a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Linus Roth, the festival’s Artistic Director, emphasized the significance of this pioneering step: “Ibiza has always been a hub of innovation and creativity, exactly what this festival strives to be. Accepting Bitcoin for tickets payments and offering it as payment to our artists is a natural extension of that spirit. It’s venturesome, it’s forward-thinking, and it mirrors the essence of Ibiza – a place where boundaries are redefined.”

The festival, led by Artistic Director Linus Roth, promises a diverse and electrifying program. Highlights include both a vibrant Tango and Flamenco Evening, a virtuoso concert titled The Secret of Stradivarius and a reimagined performance of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons arranged for guitar and violin by guitarist Petrit Çeku and Roth himself.

Tickets for Festival Ibiza Conciertos are now available for purchase while tickets can be paid in Bitcoin on the concert day at the daily exchange rate. Artists performing at the event will also have the choice to receive their compensation in Bitcoin or in Euros.
