Céline Moinet ist eine Oboistin, die ihr ganzes Herzblut in diese Aufnahmen legt, wodurch der Hörer eine musikalische Sternstunde erlebt. Da ist zuerst Mozarts Oboenquartett KV 370, das hier in einer Schönheit und einer ebenso musikantischen wie spieltechnischen Perfektion erklingt, dass man es kaum glauben kann. Moinet erweist sich als herausragende Gestalterin, die jeden Moment in der Musik zum Leben erweckt und sie mit den schönsten Farben und ehrlichsten Gefühlen erfüllt. Das ist beseeltes Musizieren in seiner schönsten Form.
Auch Mozarts Andante Cantabile KV 330 und das Adagio KV 580 sind von diesem absolut reinen und schönen Geist erfüllt.
Die beiden Oboenquartette von Luigi Gatti (1740-1817) sind eine echte Entdeckung. Auch hier werden die Interpretationen durch Cécile Moinets Spiel quasi veredelt, bleiben aber in jedem Augenblick lebendig. Die Oboistin beherrscht perfekt die Kunst, musikalische Schönheit und spielerische Schlichtheit zu einem wunderbaren Ganzen zusammenzufügen. Aber sie ist dabei nicht alleine: Mohamed Hiber, Violie, Sindy Mohamed, Viola und Tim Park, Cello erweisen sich als erstklassige Kollegen und sind maßgeblich am Gelingen dieses Albums beteiligt. Ihre spielerische Brillanz und die Freude am Kommunizieren lassen Mozart und Gatti in bestem Licht erschienen.
Dieses Quartett ist grandios und führt die Werke schnurgerade in den musikalischen Olymp. Céline Moinet ist Solo-Oboistin bei der Staatskapelle Dresden, Mohamed Hiber Konzertmeister von Barenboims West-Eastern Orchestra, Sindy Mohamed ist ebenfalls Musikerin des West-Eastern Divan Orchestra und Tim Park ist mehrfacher Preisträger und als Solist tätig. Auf diesem ebenfalls klangtechnisch überragendem Album beweisen sie sich als wunderbar homogenes, lebendiges und hellhöriges Quartett.
Céline Moinet is an oboist who puts her heart and soul into these recordings, giving the listener a musical moment of glory. First, there is Mozart’s Oboe Quartet, K370, which is performed here with such beauty and musical and technical perfection that it is hard to believe. Moinet proves to be an outstanding interpreter, bringing every moment of the music to life and filling it with the most beautiful colors and honest emotions. This is inspired music-making at its finest.
Mozart’s Andante Cantabile K. 330 and Adagio K. 580 are also filled with this absolutely pure and beautiful spirit.
The two oboe quartets in C major and F major by Luigi Gatti (1740-1817) are a real discovery. Here, too, Cécile Moinet’s playing ennobles the interpretations, while remaining alive at every moment. The oboist has mastered the art of combining musical beauty and playful simplicity to create a wonderful whole. But she is not alone: Mohamed Hiber, viola, Sindy Mohamed, viola, and Tim Park, cello, prove to be first-rate colleagues and contribute significantly to the success of this album. Their brilliance in playing and their joy in communicating show Mozart and Gatti in the best light.
This quartet is magnificent and takes the works straight to the musical Olympus. Céline Moinet is principal oboist of the Staatskapelle Dresden, Mohamed Hiber is concertmaster of Barenboim’s West-Eastern Orchestra, Sindy Mohamed is also a member of the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra, and Tim Park is an award-winning soloist. On this album, which is also outstanding in terms of sound, they prove to be a wonderfully homogeneous, lively and sensitive quartet.
