Italian pianist Beatrice Rana, chief conductor Gustavo Gimeno and the Luxembourg Philharmonic are ready for a one week tour which will bring them first, next Sunday, to Cologne and from 18-22 January to various halls in Spain and on the Canary Islands: Auditorio Palacio de Congresos Zaragoza, Auditorio Nacional de Música Madrid, Auditorio de Tenerife and Auditorio Alfredo Kraus Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
The concerts will take place with reduced capacity and Covid-check. So, in Cologne, the sold out Philharmonie has announced that only subscribers of Kölner Sonntagskonzerte are allowed in the hall. All the other tickets will be refunded to their holders.
In Spain, the halls have reduced capacities and patrons will sit in distanced seating and will have to wear a mask.
The program of the tour comprises Unsuk Chin’s Subito con forza, Sergei Rachmaninov’s Paganini Rhapsody and César Franck’s Symphony in in d-minor.
