Today, the Ukrainian capital Kiev is hosting the final round of the local International Music Competition and Festival. 15 young pianists from Ukraine, Russia, Switzerland, Canada, Australia, Georgia and Uzbekistan perform selected compositions accompanied by the National Symphonic Orchestra of Ukraine conducted by Vladimir Sirenko. Contestants’ endeavors are judged by the members of an international jury headed by pianist Denis Matsuev. The contest and its concert section are broadcasted online at www.sberbank-debut.com.
