The winners of the International String Quartet Competition Bad Tölz 2023 were selected yesterday by the 7-member jury headed by Günter Pichler.
1st Prize: Chaos String Quartet, Vienna (Austria)
2nd Prize: Affinity Quartet, Melbourne (Australia)
3rd Prize: Abeo Quartet , Delaware (USA)
Esterhazy Special Prize: best Haydn interpretation: Erinys Quartet, Helsinki (Finland)
Audience Award City of Bad Tölz / 1.000 €: Erinys Quartet, Helsinki (Finland)
