The children of late violinist Isaac Stern, Michael, David and Shira are suing the former executor of their father’s estate, according to an article published by Newsweek.
The children apparently were told by executor William Moorhead, that the violinist, who died in 2001, left far less than the $12 million they thought his properties were worth, and that the amount was not enough to cover the violinist’s debts. Later it was revealed that Moorhead paid himself more than $300,000 in fees out of the estate, and that a large part of the estate was transferred to Linda Reynolds Stern, Stern’s third wife.
In court, Stern’s children are asking now for a full accounting of their father’s estate.
