Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra has announced John Axelrod to conduct six performances from December 18-24 of Beethoven Ninth Symphony op. 125 at the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre and Suntory Hall in Tokyo as well as in Osaka.
Besides the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony other performers are soprano Eri Nakamura, alto Daichi Fujiki, tenor Yusuke Kobori, bass Hidekazu Tsumaya as well as the New National Theatre Chorus.
