The Opera in Monte Carlo has published the following statement: « For health reasons that have lasted 3 months, Mr. Kaufmann is forced to cancel the December 12 date. The artist expresses his great regret at having to do so. »
According to Kaufmann’s website this was his last contract in 2016. Next, he is scheduled to sing at the Elbphilharmonie Opening in Hamburg an 11 and 12 January. Afterwards he is expected to sing Lohengrin in Paris.
