The 22-year-old Brazilian pianist Jordan Alexander won the 1st National Piano Competition promoted by the Pedro Gordilho Institute in Brasilia. Pianist Matheus Oshiro came second and Arthur Dante received the revelation prize.
Jordan has already won several prizes, including the Villa-Lobos National Competition, the Souza Lima Piano Competition and the Guiomar Novaes Piano Competition.
