Spanish conductor Josep Caballé-Domenech, 44, has been announced as the next Artistic Director of the Bogota Philharmonic Orchestra. The position was vacant during two and a half years.
Josep Caballé Domenech is also Generalmusikdirektor in Halle, Germany, where his current contract has not been renewed and will end in July 2018. He is Music Director of the Colorado Springs Philharmonic. He began his tenure with this orchestra during the 2011-12 season. In 2016, his contract was renewed indefinitely.
