The Katowice Concert all, home of the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra has joined the European Concert Hall Organisation (ECHO). Among the organisation’s 21 members are London’s Barbican Centre, Vienna’s Musikverein, Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris, the Philharmonie Luxembourg and the BOZAR Centre for Fine Arts in Brussels.
ECHO members promote the exchange of professional experience and undertake a wide range of joint initiatives.
In 2014, the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra moved into its new home, whose main 1,800-seat concert hall is one of the world’s finest. It has been built by Polish architect Tomasz Konior and acoustically designed by Japanese company Nagata Acoustics.
