33 year-old British-Cypriot conductor Kerem Hasan has been appointed Principal Guest Conductor of the North Netherlands Symphony Orchestra (NNO) starting August 2025.
By winning the Nestlé and Salzburg Festival Young Conductors Award in summer 2017, Hasan laid the foundation for his international career. From September 2019 to June 2023, he was chief conductor of the Tyrolean Symphony Orchestra in Innsbruck.
