Ein ganz apartes musikalisches Kuriosum hält Klarthe bereit: die Symphonie Fantastique von Hector Berlioz in einer Transkription für Akkordeonquartett, gespielt vom Quatuor Aeolina. Attraktive CD mit Jean-Baptiste Fonlupt
Jean-Baptiste Fonlupt hat für La Dolce Volta Stravinskys Trois Mouvements, Ravels La Valse und die Valses nobles et sentimentales sowie Prokofievs Roméo et Juliette-Suite aufgenommen. Dem Pianisten geht es weniger um Motorik und Virtuosität als vielmehr um Klangspielereien, die er – technisch immer ganz hervorragend – mit viel Phantasie, Rubato und Farben realisiert. Einer wirklich gute und empfehlenswerte CD, die die gespielte Musik in interessanten Beleuchtungen präsentiert. – For La Dolce Volta, Jean-Baptiste Fonlupt has recorded Stravinsky’s Trois Mouvements, Ravel’s La Valse and the Valses nobles et sentimentales, as well as Prokofiev’s Roméo et Juliette Suite. The pianist is less concerned with drive and virtuosity than with a refined playing, which he realizes – technically always quite superbly – with a great deal of imagination, rubato and color. Brahms und Korngold
Obwohl Brahms in Wien lebte, hat sein Klaviertrio op. 87 – wie andere Werke auch – keinen wienerischen Charakter. Das zeigt die Interpretation des Feininger Trios, das als ein ebenso homogenes, wie bestens aufeinander eingespieltes Dreiergespann diesem Werk seine Spezifizität gibt. Ein dunkel timbrierter Klang, ein gut ausbalanciertes und dabei recht virtuoses Spiel, sowie ein gutes Dialogieren zeichnen die Interpretation aus. Dem Klaviertrio des 13-jährigen Erich Korngold gibt das Feininger Trio seinen wienerischen Charakter und wird der Meisterschaft des jungen Genies durchaus gerecht. – Although Brahms lived in Vienna, his Piano Trio op. 87 – like other works – has no Viennese character. This is shown by the interpretation of the Feininger Trio, which, as a homogeneous and well-rehearsed trio, gives this work its specificity. A dark timbred sound, a well-balanced and at the same time quite virtuosic playing, as well as a good dialogue characterize the interpretation. Das Ensemble Cantoria (Ines Alonsom, Sopran, Oriol Guimera, Alt, Jorger Losana, Tenor, Valentin Muiralles, Bass) singt Lieder von Mateo Flecha el Viejo (1481-1553), zu dessen bedeutendsten Werken die Ensaladas zählen, von denen auf dieser CD einige hinreißend dargeboten werden. Diese Stücke, die bereits von Jordi Savall und der Capella de Ministrers aufgenommen wurden, werden von Cantoria nicht nur sehr vital, sondern auch mit dem nötigen Affetto und klanglichem Raffinement aufgeführt.
