French company Little Tribeca adds a new label to their roster. Halted since 2018, following the death of its founder Pierre-Émile Barbier, the label Praga Digitals is now revived under the leadership of Nicolas Bartholomée, founder of Little Tribeca and the labels Aparté and Evidence, the company announced today.
The news release says: « With more than 400 award-winning references, the Praga Digitals label remains today one of the international references in terms of sound quality, and one of the most beautiful catalogs of chamber music. Wishing to continue to transmit the love of the beautiful sound that Pierre-Émile Barbier bequeathed with his catalog, Little Tribeca aspires to renew with the cornerstones of the label: the sound know-how, the collaboration with renowned artists, the defense of audacious repertoires. To this end, Praga Digitals is proud to announce the rebirth of the label with the release, in October 2021, of the new recording of the Prazak Quartet. »
