Leos Janacek (1854-1928) hat eine aufs Ganze gesehen sehr intimistische Klaviermusik komponiert, knapp 30 oft sehr kurze Werke. Die wichtigsten dieser Kompositionen sind auf dieser CD vereint, die Sonate 1. Oktober 1905 sowie die Zyklen Im Nebel und Auf verwachsenen Pfad.

Die Sensibilität der Kompositionen und die darin erhaltenen außerordentlichen Stimmungsbilder mit ihrer Sehnsucht, ihrer Zärtlichkeit, ihren positiven wie negativen Gedanken verlangen ein ebenso sensibles Musizieren. Zu viel Emotion ist genauso schädlich wie zu viel Zurückhaltung. Lars Vogt gelingt es, mit einem besonders einfühlsamen Interpretieren die Intimität der Musik sehr gut auszudrücken.

Dieses milde und sensible Klima kann nur entstehen, weil Vogt, wie einst

Moravec, der Sänger am Flügel, Spannung mit Natürlichkeit verbinden kann, Akzente und Nuancen nicht als solche erscheinen lässt, sondern als klanggebundene, musikinhärente Entwicklungen, unaufdringlich und durchwegs im Charakter einer improvisatorischen Reflexion.

Leos Janacek (1854-1928) composed a very intimate piano music, not even 30 often very short works. The most important of these compositions are performed on this CD, the Sonata October 1, 1905, as well as the cycles In the Mists and On An Overgrown Path.
The sensitivity of the compositions and their extraordinary moods, with their longing, their tenderness, their positive as well as negative thoughts, demand equally sensitive music-making. Too much emotion is just as harmful as too much restraint. Lars Vogt succeeds in expressing the intimacy of the music very well with a particularly subtle interpretation.
This mild and sensitive climate can only arise because Vogt, like once Moravec, the singer at the piano, can combine tension with naturalness, does not let accents and nuances appear as such, but as music-inherent developments, unobtrusive and throughout in the character of an improvisational reflection.
