At a press conference, the Orchestre de Chambre du Luxembourg (OCL) announced its 2023-2024 musical season and its official residency at the International School of Luxembourg.
No fewer than 30 concerts are planned for this season in a wide variety of venues: Philharmonie, Cinémathèque and Cercle Cité, projects with the Maîtrise de la Cathédrale, opera productions with the Grand-Théâtre de la Ville de Luxembourg, CAPE, Escher Theater and the Wiltz Festival, anniversaries of the Mierscher Kulturhaus and the Ecole de Musique de Differdange…
The OCL is expanding its partnership with the Conservatoire in Luxembourg by offering master classes. Students can benefit from the presence of musicians such as Hila Baggio and Ian Bostridge, who are participating in this season.
Classes from the City of Luxembourg will benefit from an educational program in the classroom and at the Conservatoire, focusing on Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker.
The International School of Luxembourg is another partner to reinforce this educational pillar this season.
Following the example of its educational programs in Luxembourg City schools, the OCL has been invited to take up a 4-week residency at the International School of Luxembourg in order to share the creative process with young people, conduct innovative educational initiatives, and provide an opportunity to question the artistic approach.
