On 28 and 29 April the wind band of Kayl, Luxembourg, organizes a charity concert under the title All Together, which is to take place at Centre Culturel Schungfabrik in Tétange. « All Together is an appeal for more solidarity and a closer bond between nations in times of war and massive migration », the organizer says in a press release.
The concert features well-known artists from Luxembourg and abroad. Special guest Serge Tonnar is going to perform his song Mir wëllen Iech ons Heemcht weisen, as well as Standing Man, with Iranian singer and songwriter Tohid Tohidi.
Furthermore, the project All Together involves the first performance of the recently founded World Choir, consisting of refugee children. The choir was created for this very project by Harmonie Ste Cécile’s conductor, Sandro Bucciarelli and Luxembourg’s Red Cross.
Further guests are the youth choir Chorale des Jeunes du Conservatoire d’Esch and Hariko, a Red Cross cultural project group, who will perform alongside Harmonie Ste Cécile Kayl.
