In the first semester of 2014, 214 projects have been submitted to Luxembourg’s National Cultural Fund (FOCUNA), 57,66 % more than in the same period of 2013. 146 projects have been subsidized (+31,53 %) for a total amount of € 279 376,55 (30,12 % less than in 2013). From a total of 92 musical projects 63 were accepted and granted with € 89 251,00 EUR (31,95 % from the total). In the same time FOCUNA communicates that scholarships of the Fondation Michelle have been given under its guidance to six musicians (French text to follow).
Bourses de la Fondation Michelle
La Fondation Michelle, sous l’égide de la Fondation de Luxembourg et par le biais du Fonds culturel national, a attribué une bourse pour talents précoces à Zala Kavros pour suivre des cours de piano à la Chapelle Reine Elisabeth à Bruxelles, et un prix d’encouragement à Ana Carpisassi, Alissa Dörr et Max Gieres.
Deux bourses ont été attribuées dans la catégorie « master classes internationales » à Sabine Weyer (master class en piano à la Sommerakademie Mozarteum à Salzbourg) et à Alexander Gebhard (master class en chant à l’Académie d’été Nei Stëmmen à Luxembourg.)
Le montant total des bourses s’élève à 5 500,00 EUR.
