The Macon Symphony Orchestra (Georgia, USA) has announced that it will be ending its existence after the October concert this fall. The orchestras’s board said « the Symphony has been experiencing declining ticket sales and declining corporate support in recent years, and that trend is accelerating. »
The Macon Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1976.
