The Toronto Symphony Orchestra has announced major changes in its Board, with several Board Members resigning for unrevealed reasons. Richard Phillips, chair of the board has been replaced by Catherine Beck. Four of the other five members of the board’s executive committee have also left. This is a major reorganisation for an orchestra that is in a financial turmoil and is seeking both a new permanent CEO and a new music director.
