Mariam Batsashvili
The Georgian pianist Mariam Batsashvili (*1993) won First Prize at the 10th International Franz Liszt Competition in Utrecht. Second Prize went to Peter Klimo (1990, United States) and Third Prize went to Mengjie Han (1989, The Netherlands) The audience – at home and in the concert hall – voted for their favorite finalist via the Liszt Competition App. Mengjie Han (1989, The Netherlands) received the Capgemini Audience Award. The Liszt Competition is held every three years in Utrecht since 1986.
