This year’s edition of the Queen Elisabeth Competition will be devoted to the violin. For the second time in the history of the violin competition, the first round and the semi-finals will take place in the Flagey complex in Brussels, from 4 to 16 May. In the semi-finals Paul Meyer will conduct the Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie. The final round will take place at the Brussels Centre for Fine Arts (Palais des Beaux-Arts) in collaboration with the National Orchestra of Belgium, conducted by Marin Alsop, from 25 to 30 May 2015.
