Malmö Symphony Orchestra (MSO) has announced the appointment of 64-year-old British conductor Martyn Brabbins to the role of chief conductor. Beginning his tenure in the 2025-26 season, Brabbins succeeds Robert Trevino, who stepped down from the role of chief conductor in 2021 to take up the position of artistic advisor with the orchestra.
