Unter dem Titel Slow werden auf diesem Album 12 langsame bis sehr langsame Stücke zusammengestellt. Beim Abhören ergibt sich überraschenderweise eine gewisse musikalische Logik, so dass das Album wirklich Freude macht, man sich zurücklehnt und sich vom Spiel der Pianistin verführen lässt.
Jegunova gelingt es, jeden Moment dieser musikalischen Langsamkeit mit wunderbaren Klängen und tief empfundenem Spiel auszufüllen. Was schnell langweilig werden kann, wird hier quasi zum Ereignis. Olga Jegunova erweist sich als eine Meisterin der Stille und bewegt den Hörer zum Innehalten und Meditieren. Eine im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes reine und schöne CD, deren exzellente Aufnahmequalität jede Note ins Schwingen bringt und zum Genuss werden lässt.
Under the title Slow, 12 slow to very slow pieces are compiled on this album. Surprisingly, a certain musical logic emerges when listening to the album, making it a real pleasure to sit back and let yourself be seduced by the pianist’s playing.
Jegunova manages to fill every moment of this musical slowness with wonderful sounds and deeply felt playing. What could quickly become boring becomes an event here. Olga Jegunova proves herself to be a master of silence and moves the listener to pause and meditate. A pure and beautiful CD in the truest sense of the word, whose excellent recording quality makes every note resonate and is a pleasure to listen to.
