The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra’s Emergency Fund Raising campaign was successful. Officials said Friday that MSO has raised $4.8 million of its $5 million fundraising goal. Moreover, it is secured a $200,000 challenge grant to help it meet its target. This means that new gifts to the MSO will be matched dollar-for-dollar by a grant from an anonymous donor. This new financial situation allows the Orchestra to have a confident look at it near future.
