Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, ein Cellohasser? Dafür gibt es keine Anhaltspukte. Fakt aber ist, dass er nichts explizit für das Cello komponiert hat. Cellisten haben schon öfter versucht, dieses Manko mit Transkriptionen auszugleichen. Und ehrlich, die Sinfonia Concertante für Violine und Cello klingt ganz gut, zumal weil sie von Karolina Nowotczynska und Marcin Zdunik aus einem Geist heraus mit viel Schwung und Charisma gespielt wird.
Auch im Duo KV 423 bewähren sich die beiden als gute Interpreten. Dass dann am Ende eine eher schlampig artikulierte und unausgewogene 29. Symphonie den Missmut des Rezensenten erregt, sollte niemanden davon abhalten, sich zumindest (per Streaming oder Download geht das ja sehr fein) die Cello-Concertante anzuhören.

The fact that at the end a rather sloppily articulated and unbalanced 29th Symphony arouses the displeasure of the reviewer should not prevent anyone from at least listening to the Cello Concertante. Via streaming or download such a restricted choice is very easy.
