Having completed their 20th season together in 2014-15, Music Director Michael Tilson Thomas leads the San Francisco Symphony in 13 concerts across nine cities in some of Europe’s most prestigious concert halls and festivals August 27- September 14, 2015. Pianists Yuja Wang and Jeremy Denk, and the St. Lawrence String Quartet join the SFS throughout the tour for performances including two concerts at the BBC Proms, two at the Edinburgh International Festival, two at the Lucerne Festival, and at the George Enescu Festival in Bucharest, as well as performances in Germany at the Berlin Festival and the Rheingau Festival in Wiesbaden. This high-profile tour also features concerts in Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, Luxembourg’s Philharmonie, and their debut at the new Paris Philharmonie.
