The cast of the Broadway musical Hamilton addressed Donald Trumps future Vice-President in a theatre in New York where Pence was booed by the audience on Friday evening. Trump has asked for an apology over the letter read out by a cast member. The text said in a very civilized way « diverse America » was « alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us ». Trump however tweeted that the cast harassed Mr Pence and said: « This should not happen! (…) The theater must always be a safe and special place. The cast of Hamilton was very rude last night to a very good man, Mike Pence. Apologize! »
