Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet, an avant-garde company based in New York, is shut down. This was reported by the Observer. Created and financed by Walmart heiress Nancy Walton Laurie, the company was active for 12 years. 16 dancers and some 10 administrative staff lose their jobs.
