Yannick Nézet-Séguin

The Rotterdam Philharmonic has announced that its chief conductor Yannick Nézet-Séguin (40) will step down in 2018, after ten years on the job. The Canadian conductor is Music director of the Philadelphia Orchestra and of the Orchestre Métropolitain in Montreal. Nézet-Séguin will get the title of honorary conductor, and continue to make regular guest appearances.
