32-year-old British conductor Nicholas Collon has been appointed Principal Conductor of The Hague Philharmonic. Starting 1 August 2016, Collon will be leading the orchestra for an average of six weeks per season until at least 2019. Collon has attained fame primarily in Great Britain as the founder and Principal Conductor of Aurora Orchestra. He will have to collaborate with the orchestra’s other Principal Conductor, Jan Willem de Vriend.
