The violin section of the ARD Musikwettbewerb in Munich ended yesterday without First Prize. German violinist Sarah Christian, won Second Prize as well as the Audience Award. Third Prize went to Kristine Balanas, Latvia. The third finalist, Lorenz Chen from Germany, was left empty-handed.
Sarah Christian’s debut CD is planned to be reviewed by Pizzicato on 12/9.
