Clermont-Ferrand based Orchestre d’Auvergne is the first French orchestra to launch its own 100% digital label, accessible on various paid-subscription streaming platforms. The press release says: « In order to extend the excitement of the concert or to discover its live performances remotely, the Orchestre d’Auvergne will offer in 2019 a selection of its major events, recorded live at the Opéra-Théâtre of Clermont-Ferrand, under the baton of Music Director Roberto Fores Veses. »
The first recording is Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7 Opus 92, recorded at the Clermont-Ferrand Opera-Theatre on October 4, 2018.
