The Orchestre de la Suisse Romande has acquired a former circus trailer and had it transformed into a mobile stage, to meet its audience. The main objective is to meet all the people of Geneva and to bring music to a public with limited access to venues. The caravan, delivered in Geneva on 20 May, was made available to the OSR for the start of a new musical adventure in French-speaking Switzerland.
At the request of medical-social establishments (EMS), establishments for the disabled (EPH), public establishments for integration (EPI), clinics and hospitals in French-speaking Switzerland, as well as convalescent homes, the OSR’s musicians are committed to programming musical events to the delight of the residents. With the creation of a tailor-made artistic programme, imagined by the musicians and composed of a variety of pieces, from duets to quintets, all the OSR musicians take part in this wonderful adventure they have themselves initiated.
Needless to say that the health directives issued by the Federal Council are respected, as much for the musicians and the technical team as for the listeners. Thus, in order to avoid any gathering of people, the planning of these musical animations is not communicated.
