Outhere Music Group has announced the acquisition of the catalog of Analekta, Canada’s leading independent label. Founded 35 years ago in Montreal by Mario Labbé, Analekta has over 600 titles in its catalog and has recorded with more than 200 musicians. Long distributed by Outhere, this acquisition marks the first foray into the Americas for the Belgian group founded in 2004 by Charles Adriaenssen, which includes Alpha Classics, Arcana, Channel Classics, Eloquentia, Fuga Libera, ICA Classics, Linn Records, Muso, Outnote Records, Phi, Ramée and Ricercar.
