A senior official at the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra has admitted in court that he sexually harassed a young female orchestra musician over a span of more than three years. The court declared the 31-year-old man guilty and sentenced him to one year in prison, suspended for four years. A five-year restraining order in favor of the victim was also imposed. Sadly the victim has resigned from the Orchestra to avoid further contact with the man.
