Im Goldenen Saal im Musikverein Wien hatten die Wiener Symphoniker und Gastdirigentin Eva Ollikainen gewissermaßen jeweils drei Sätze in jedem Konzertteil zu bieten. Sorocaba, a large city in the south-east of the Brazilian state of São Paulo can still count on an active musical life. After the repercussions of a statement announcing the suspension of the activities of the Municipal Music Institute and the Sorocaba Symphony Orchestra due to the non-renewal of the agreement with the City, the parties finally agreed on a new contract which has been signed for another five years, with an increase of  the funding from the municipality.
