The Lyric Opera of Chicago has announced a transformational gift from longtime supporter and Vice Chair of its Board of Directors Penelope Steiner. This unprecedented, unrestricted gift of twenty-five million dollars represents one of the largest, one-time, individual contributions in the company’s history.

Opera Theatre of Saint Louis (OTSL) has announced that it is under contract for the purchase of a 6.67-acre parcel of land upon which it plans to build a new, state-of-the-art performing arts center.
