Der Komponist Manos Tsangaris erhält den diesjährigen Mauricio Kagel Musikpreis der Kunststiftung NRW Die Ehrung ist mit 80.000 Euro dotiert. Darin enthalten ist ein Zuschuss von 50.000 Euro für die Aufführung eines neu entstehenden Werkes mit einem Ensemble aus Nordrhein-Westfalen. Manos TsangarisTsangaris hat von 1976 bis 1983 Mauricio Kagel (1931-2008) studiert.
