Die zweite Einspielung des Zyklus von Harnoncourt mit Da Ponte Opern von Mozart mit dem zeitlich zweiten Werk Don Giovanni führt die meisten Aspekte, die bereits zu La Nozze di Figaro gemacht wurden fort. Eine Wiederholung ist unnötig. Auch hier bietet es sich an, die Dokumentation vorher anzusehen. So weist Harnoncourt etwa darin darauf hin, dass nicht nur Don Giovanni alle Frauen liebt, sondern diese dieses Gefühl durchaus erwidern. Er ist also Verführer, aber auch gewollt. Read More →

Italienischer Blockflöten-Barock
Das Schweizer Label Prospero präsentiert die Ersteinspielung der gesamten Flötensonaten von Domenico Maria Dreyer (ca. 1680 – ca. 1740). Der Blockflötist Isaac Makhdoomi interpretiert sie zusammen mit Sebastian Bausch am Cembalo. Die klangprächtigen Interpretationen stellen den Blockflötisten in den Vordergrund. Makhdoomi spielt mit Eleganz und Leichtigkeit. Nie wird der Ton dick, sondern bleibt stets geschmeidig und in den virtuosen Passagen von bestechender Klangschärfe, ohne es dabei an Wärme fehlen zu lassen. – The Swiss label Prospero presents the premiere recording of the complete flute sonatas by Domenico Maria Dreyer (ca. 1680 – ca. 1740). At the age of 15, you are still fully involved in the daily school routine, which is not easy to cope with, especially in times of a pandemic. Apart from the current difficulties, how do you generally manage school and music studies and still keep some free time as well?
I just try to combine everything well: the time for school, for practicing and for myself.  I usually do my schoolwork first, then I get out the violin.  Rehearsing depends a lot on other appointments and factors.
