Der Cellist David Louwerse und der Pianist François Daudet setzen ihre Zusammenarbeit fort mit einem meditativen Programm, das mit kleineren Stücken beginnt, die die beiden Musiker aber nicht zu schmalzigem Interpretieren missbrauchen, sondern stil- und geschmackvoll sowie zutiefst musikalisch spielen. Louwerse singt sehr natürlich, sehr souverän und gleichzeitig zart, poesievoll und verinnerlicht auf seinem Cello. Sechs Konzerte von Vivaldi, drei mit Solovioline und die anderen drei mit Violine und Orgel als Soloinstrumente haben die Interpreten in Anna Marias Stimmbuch gefunden. Anna Maria war die beste Geigerin im Pietà, also einem Waisenheim der Stadt Venedig. Das heißt, eigentlich haben sie nur die Solostimme gefunden und mussten die Orchestration dazu erst schaffen. Utah Symphony | Utah Opera (USUO) has announced that Swiss conductor Thierry Fischer (63) will extend his contract as Utah Symphony Music Director through August 2023. In May 2019, Fischer had announced his plans to conclude his tenure at the end of the 2021-22 season. This extension adds one year to his role as Music Director, and will run concurrently with his Music Directorship of the São Paulo Symphony Orchestra (OSESP), which he took up in March of this year.
