The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports that the 32-year-old estranged wife of pianist Vadym Kholodenko has been indicted on capital murder charges in deaths of their two young daughters, 1-year-old Michaela Kholodenko and 5-year-old Nika Kholodenko. She is believed to have suffocated the girls with pillows on 17 March at her home in suburban Benbrook/Texas.

18-year-old Japanese violinist Ayana Tsuji has been awarded the first prize at the 2016 Montreal International Musical Competition.
