In 2016 Norwegian pianist Leif Ove Andsnes will launch a new chamber music festival in his homeland. Called Rosendal Chamber Music Festival it will take place in the picturesque setting of Western Norway’s historic Rosendal estate, where Andsnes – a Rosendal regular for more than 20 years – will serve as Founding Director. For its 22nd edition, La Folle Journée de Nantes runs under the theme of Nature. Elements, wildlife, seasons,…there are a lot of possible connections, that composers explored, from Renaissance to present times. La Folle Journée will take place in the region of Nantes from January 29 to 31 and in Nantes from February 3 to 7.
