The National Opera in Paris had to cancel the first performance of the new season, the premiere of ‘Madama Butterfly’ yesterday evening due to a strike of the staff. The opera was to be conducted by Daniele Rustioni and staged by Robert Wilson, with Oksana Dyka in the title role.
