The International Classical Music Awards (ICMA) organized their Award Ceremony and Gala Concert yesterday, 28 March at the Bilkent Concert Hall in Ankara, hosted by the Bilkent Symphony Orchestra conducted by Isin Metin. The Jury deciding upon a grant for a concert tour by a young Luxembourgish musician has given this financial aid to the pianist Cathy Krier, who currently plans the organization of a concert tour in Japan in 2015/16. Born in Luxembourg in 1985, Cathy Krier began taking piano lessons at the Luxembourg Conservatoire at the age of five. In 1999 she was admitted to Pavel Gililov’s masterclass at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne. She has performed internationally and recorded several CDs. Read More →
