The National Opera in Paris reminds people that France is the country par excellence of ongoing strikes. Last Monday, a union started a strike just two hours prior to the performance of Il Trovatore, yesterday evening Boris Godunov had to be cancelled as well, and there might be well other cancellations to come. Vive la France.
