The National Opera in Paris costs France € 104,5 millions, but it generates an overall good result, as shown by the now published figures for 2012. For the opera productions 96% of the tickets have been sold, for the ballet productions 85,7% at Bastille, while the old Garnier Opera was less successful with 86,7% and 85,5%. The increased ticket sales and a better income from sponsoring gave the Opera a surplus of € 8, 5 million.
