A new music complex will open in Paris in 2025. The project is currently under construction in the 11th arrondissement, at 69 boulevard de Charonne, on the site of a former electrical transformer.
Following a broad consultation process, the consortium led by Batipart Immobilier, architect Éléonore Givry and a multi-disciplinary team of music industry professionals won the call for projects, thanks to an innovative and ambitious program that calls for the creation of a complex dedicated to sound and music production, including a recording studio capable of hosting a symphony orchestra.
The new 8,500 m² facility will be built around three main pillars: state-of-the-art recording, production and post-production facilities, to increase the density and diversity of what is still an underdeveloped offer in Paris; a cluster for sound and audiovisual professionals, with the first coworking space specialized in these professions; and a convivial space open to all, encouraging exchanges and encounters between professionals, amateurs and local residents.
